Description:

This is the opportunity for the seasoned woodworker who knows their way around a woodshop to have access to machines you may not have in your shop and get that project you have been working on checked off the list.

What is included

-Access to all the equipment and hand tools (except laser and cnc)

-Safety instruction on machines

-Expert instructors to ask a question or three

-A friendly Labrador named Boomer

What is NOT included

-The Open shop program is NOT to help you design your project. Arrive with a design ready to go to work !

-Materials are NOT included

-Lunch is NOT included

Days of Open Shop:

Daily Pass- Weekday only does not include Weekends 9am-3:30pm

Weekly Pass- Weekday only does not include Weekends 9am-3:30pm

Monthly Pass- Tues-Fri + 2 Saturdays a month 9am-3:30 pm

ALL PASSES EXPIRE 1 YEAR FROM DATE OF ISSUANCE

NOTE: The open shop participants are responsible for cost of damage to any the equipment during its use by the participant. Anyone found abusing or misusing the equipment will be expelled immediately and will NOT be refunded. There are cameras throughout the facility recording 24/7 .

NOTE: The CNC machine and Laser CAN NOT be used without a NJSOW staff member on site are the use of these machines is not included in ANY membership. The cost for CNC and Laser use is $95 for project that require less than 1 hour of runtime. If design/file modification is required the rate is $75 per hour
