The Veteran Woodworking Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping military veterans who are living with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, depression, and other service-related challenges discover healing through the craft of woodworking. Through tax deductible charitable donations, this program provides financial assistance that enables veterans to enroll in woodworking classes at the NJ School of Woodwork a NJ 501 C-3 non-profit , removing cost barriers and creating opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community connection.
Woodworking offers more than the opportunity to build beautiful projects—it provides a therapeutic and rewarding experience that promotes focus, mindfulness, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. For many veterans, working with their hands in a supportive environment can help reduce stress, improve emotional well-being, and foster meaningful relationships with fellow students. Donations to the Veteran Woodworking Scholarship Fund directly support tuition assistance, materials, and program access, ensuring that those who have served our nation can benefit from the restorative power of craftsmanship and creativity.
Every contribution, regardless of size, helps a veteran gain access to a meaningful pathway toward healing, purpose, and renewed confidence through woodworking.
