Whether working with a solid wood block or a laminated piece, you’ll create an organically shaped box that is both artistic and functional.

In this hands-on class, you will design and build a simple one-drawer box using primarily a bandsaw. You'll learn essential techniques such as shaping organic forms, reading wood grain, and making precise rip and crosscuts. Choose to create your own unique design or follow a provided template.
