A handcrafted wooden box provides a beautiful display of true understanding of size, scale, and functionality while giving the maker the opportunity to combine different woods to emphasize the small details of a design. By adding an inside tray, a small box can become even more useful. Come explore some ways to make attractive boxes using miter and spline joinery. Participants will have the chance to create inside trays or compartments as well as custom lid designs. This would be a great class for a father and daughter to take together.
